The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 came into effect in 2008 and whilst England, Wales and Northern Ireland have secured convictions under this legislation, The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service have yet to test the legislation before a Scottish Court.
